This August, Cleanhouse together with other leading facilities cleaning and management companies have established the Professional Cleaning and Facility Management Association of Latvia. The aim of this association is to unite industry professionals – employers, manufacturers, suppliers and research authorities – to express common opinion and promote development of professional cleaning industry in Latvia. Member of Cleanhouse Board of Directors Kristaps Done indicates: ’’There will be several main tasks for the Association. Through joint contribution we want to bring order in procedures of state purchase concerning the industry of facilities cleaning and management, and also raise the prestige of office-cleaner profession. Therefore, at the moment, we put forward cooperation with the State Labour Inspection as the prior direction of our business in order to promote together fair employment in companies of cleaning services.
The Professional Cleaning and Facility Management Association was established by six leading companies of the industry. However, founders appeal to join each legal entity or individual which operate in the industry of facility management and cleaning and with its actions or other means of support wants to help reaching the main goals and tasks of the Association.
